Sabah police seize drugs worth RM220,000

Police in Sabah seized 932.82 grammes of methamphetamine, estimated to be valued at RM220,000, last Friday.
Sabah police commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said based on a tip-off, a team of police from Penampang raided a house at 3pm.
"In the raid, a suspect tried to dispose something through the house window but was held back by police and it was found to be a plastic bag containing 428.58 grammes of crystals believed to be methamphetamine," he said at a media conference in conjunction with the Sabah contingent's monthly assembly at the Sabah police headquarters in Kepayan, here, today.
Police also nabbed two men, a 44-year-old Chinese national and a local in the house.
"Upon further investigations, police recovered 10 packets of methamphetamine weighing 504.24 grammes from a room in the house," he said.
