Sabah Polls: Bung Moktar, Hajiji to have an audience with Tun Juhar
Bung Moktar has confirmed that he and Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor will have an audience with Tun Juhar this afternoon.
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin has confirmed that he and Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor will have an audience with Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.
Bung Moktar, who is also the Lamag State Assemblyman (ADUN), said that the meeting with Juhar will take place this afternoon.
He said Juhar would determine whether he or Hajiji would be appointed as the new Sabah Chief Minister.
"Wait ... wait for His Excellency to announce who the Chief Minister of Sabah is," he said.
Earlier, GRS held a joint meeting attended by the Secretary-General of Perikatan Nasional (PN) Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin; UMNO Vice President Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob; and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) president, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.
In the 16th Sabah State Election (PRN), GRS won 38 DUN seats out of 73 contested.
