Sabah repatriates 429 Filipino illegal immigrants

Some 429 Filipino illegal immigrants were repatriated through the Sandakan Port yesterday.
Sabah National Security Council (MKN) director Datuk Rodzi Md Saad in a statement today said they comprised 270 men, 123 women, 25 boys and 11 girls.
He said the repatriation began at 10.30pm by ferry from Sandakan Port to Zamboanga in the Philippines.
According to him, the operation went smoothly without any untoward incident. - BERNAMA
