The people of Sabah are always assured of peace and security due to the high commitment of the security forces.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the security forces maintained the security in the state, including the nation''s territorial waters and existing security posts.
He was speaking at the handing over of Ramadan aid to 924 recipients in Kampung Sungai Luboh near here today.
"We, in the Barisan Nasional are constantly working to ensure that the people enjoy good life and Sabah is peaceful and stable," added Musa.
In a separate event, the chief minister presented Ramadan aid to 950 needy individuals in Taman Merpati here.
At the event, organised by the state government-linked Warisan Harta Sdn Bhd, he also broke the fast with residents in the housing estate and performed tarawih prayers at Masjid Taman Merpati.
