Called the Z2, the device is also the first Tizen-powered mobile to support 4G, according to technology source The Verge.
The mobile was created to pack in the most number of functions possible at a low price – and specially designed for the Indian market.
With a 90-day free trial to try different entertainment apps, users also get 90 days of free access to video calling, on-demand movies and TV as well as a music streaming service.
Other interesting functions include a Data Saving mode allowing users to significantly compress data.
