Sarawak Cabinet under Adenan sworn-in

The Sarawak State cabinet members under newly appointed Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem took their oath of office before Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, here, Monday.

Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Alfred Jabu led the cabinet line-up comprising eight full ministers and 19 assistant ministers.

State Assembly Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar and State Secretary Tan Sri Mohd Morshidi Abdul Ghani were among those present at the swearing-in held at the Dewan Lapau, Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building, here.

The ceremony was held following the appointment of Adenan as the fifth Sarawak Chief Minister on Feb 28 after Taib stepped down after holding the post for 33 years.
