Sarawak election: BN-DAP battle over Tasik Biru

It will be a straight fight between Barisan Nasional and DAP for the Tasik Biru state seat.

Datuk Henry Harry Jinep of the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) will face Mordi Bimol of DAP.

The nomination process went without any untoward incident this morning.

Both candidates were present at the nomination centre at Dewan Suarah Bau, accompanied by their respective supporters.

Also present were Gelang Patah MP Lim Kit Siang and former Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie.

The official announcement of the two candidates was made by Bau District Officer Inting Nyami at around 10.30am.
