Sarawak helicopter tragedy: Ahmad Sobri laid to rest in Terengganu

The remains of Ahmad Sobri Haron, a victim in the helicopter mishap Thursday, were laid to rest at Kampung Bukit Tok Mek cemetery in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.
Ahmad Sobri’s body was accompanied by his parents Haron Muda and Fauziah Musa together with three other family members.
Terengganu Mentri Besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, state police chief Datuk Rosli Abdul Rahman, and more than 200 state police officers were among those present.
Ahmad Sobri’s remains were later taken to his house at Kampung Bukit Chempaka, Batu Rakit at about 6.40am for the funeral proceedings.
Ahmad Sobri was the bodyguard to Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Datuk Noriah Kasnon.
To date, five bodies in the helicopter tragedy were found, while the search for the sixth victim, pilot Rudolf Rex Ragas, to continue Sunday.
On Thursday, the ill-fated helicopter departed Betong en route to Kuching at 4.12pm before losing contact and went missing not long after.
