The remains of Kuala Kangsar Member of Parliament, Datuk Wan Mohammad Khair-il Anuar Wan Ahmad were laid to rest at the Royal Mausoleum of Kuala Kangsar, Bukit Chandan, today.
The C130H aircraft carrying the remains of Wan Mohammad arrived at Sultan Azlan Shah Airport (LTSAS) at 6.47am, after leaving the Kuching RMAF Base.
The remains were accompanied by his wife, Datin Mastura Yazid, 55, his four children, as well as other close relatives.

On hand to receive the remains were Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah and Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, with some 200 other dignitaries, family members and friends.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir, Perak Mufti Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria and Domestic Trade Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin.
The body of Wan Mohammad was the fifth body found by the search and rescue team on Saturday which was launched following the incident of a missing helicopter on Thursday.
The helicopter enroute from Betong, Sarawak to Kuching took off at 4.12pm on Thursday before losing contact at 4.32pm near Sebuyau.
On board the chopper were Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Noriah Kasnon, her husband Asmuni Abdullah, her bodyguard Ahmad Sobri Harun, Plantation Industries and Commodities secretary-general Datuk Dr Sundaran Annamalai and Filipino pilot Rudolf Rex Ragas.
To date, the body of the pilot has yet to be found.
