"The Saudi Arabian Immigration and Customs team will be at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to check the pilgrims' passports. We call this process as pre-clearance and when the pilgrims arrive at the airport in Madinah or Jeddah, they no longer have to wait for the Immigration and Customs process.
"They will directly board the bus to their respective hotels either in Madinah or in Makkah. Their bags will be handled by the agency from Saudi Arabia which will deliver to their respective hotels.
"This process does not take long, and it also facilities our pilgrims," he told a media conference on the 2022 Haj Operation here today.
