School administrators must ensure safety of infrastructure - Mahdzir
MAHDZIR: Identify the infrastructure and equipment with high risk of an accident and immediately report to the District Education Office (PPD) for action.
Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid has reminded school administrators to take proactive measures in ensuring the safety of infrastructure.
"Identify the infrastructure and equipment with high risk of an accident and immediately report to the District Education Office (PPD) for action," he said in his Facebook page today.
Mahdzir also expressed sadness and offered condolences to the family of Nik Mohamad Lutfi Kamaruddin, the student of SMK Tengku Indra Petra 2 (SMKTIP2), Gua Musang, Kelantan, who was killed by a falling goal post this morning.
Nik Mohamad Lutfi,14, succumbed to severe head injuries after a goal post collapsed while he was playing handball in the school field at 9am.
