Talks are already underway between Malaysia, Australia and China to call off the search for missing Malaysian Airlines MH370, said Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss.
Truss in an interview, told Reuters that the search for MH370 cannot go on forever.
MH370, from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, went missing almost a year ago with 239 passengers and crew. No trace of the aircraft has been found to date.
“For many of the families onboard, they won't have closure unless they have certain knowledge that the aircraft has been located and perhaps their loved ones' remains have been recovered," Truss was quoted by Reuters.
"We clearly cannot keep searching forever, but we want to do everything that's reasonably possible to locate the aircraft."
