Security guard pleads not guilty to committing gang robbery
The offence was allegedly committed at the The Papas Kitchen.
A security guard claimed trial at the Sessions Court here today after being charged with committing gang robbery at a bar, last June.
Mohd Tarmizi Mohd Nordin @ Sudin,33, peladed not guilty after the charge was read out to him before Judge Harmi Thamri Mohamad @ Shaharudin.
The accused together with four others still at large were alleged to have robbed a sling bag containing a purse, an identity card, a driver's licence, three ATM cards, two credit cards and RM400 belonging to Lai Chee Kwin, 34. He was armed with an iron rod.
The offence was allegedly committed at the The Papas Kitchen.
Harmi Thamri set bail at RM25,000 in one surety, ordered the accused not to disturb witnesses and report to the nearest police station once a month and Sept 6 for re-mention.
Deputy public prosecutor N.Joy Jothi appeared for the prosecution while the accused, a father of three, was represented by counsel Azi Azlin Zulkifli.
