Sekinchan assemblyman's car broken into, RM20,000 stolen

Sekinchan state assemblyman Ng Suee Lim claimed that his car was broken into and RM20,000 cash stolen after he had parked his car at Pekan Lama, here at noon today.
Ng, 45, the Sekinchan state assemblyman from DAP said he had parked his Mazda CX5 SUV in front of a bank at 12.20pm and when he returned 10 minutes later, he found the windscreen on the driver's side broken and an A4 sized envelope containing RM20,000 missing.
"When I returned to my car after 10 minutes, I saw the windscreen broken and RM20,000 cash kept in an envelope missing," he said when contacted by Bernama.
He said the RM20,000 was meant to pay his staff bonus (ang pow) in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year.
Meanwhile, a spokesman from the Kuala Selangor district police station confirmed receiving a report from Ng about the incident.
