Selangor to reward state civil servants with Raya bonus

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali today announced that the state civil servants will receive two months' special financial assistance in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

The special aid will be paid out on June 21.

He said a total of 17,703 state civil servants will receive the special financial assistance which involved a provision of RM63.3 million.

"This is a token of appreciation to the civil servants for their commitment and dedication in promoting and developing the state.

"And this is based on the current financial performance and that is why we have agreed to provide assistance to civil servants," he said during the 'Rapat Ramadhan Penjawat Awam Bersama YAB Dato' Menteri Besar Selangor' event at the Dewan Jubli Perak auditorium this morning.

Mohamed Azmin added that the state government also planned to provide a further financial incentives to civil servants by the end of this year, subject to the performance of the department and state agencies.
