His Majesty also ordered Jais to take immediate action against the mosque administrator and the organiser of the talk.
The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah is angry and disappointed with Subang Member of Parliament R. Sivarasa who is alleged to have smeared the sanctity of the An Nur Mosque in Kampung Melayu Subang near here when he delivered a political talk inside the mosque last Wednesday.
Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) director Datuk Haris Kasim said he was personally informed by the Sultan about the matter.
"Prior to this, the Sultan has also expressed his anger and disappointment through his private secretary Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani.
"...and today, while speaking to me at the breaking of fast event, His Majesty expressed his anger (at Sivarasa''s action) again," he told reporters after attending the breaking of fast event and the launch of Kampung Sementa Mosque, which was graced by the Sultan, here today.
Haris said Jais had called the An Nur Mosque administrator last Friday to explain about the incident and to submit a report to His Majesty yesterday.
He said after studying the report, the Sultan described the action of the mosque administrator and the organiser of the talk, as disrespectful of his decree against using mosque for any political activities.
"His Majesty also ordered Jais to take immediate action against the mosque administrator and the organiser of the talk.
"We have asked the administrator to submit a show-cause letter this week and to explain why he allowed Sivarasa to deliver a talk in that mosque. We will also look at the suitable action that can be taken against the administrator, whether a warning, suspension of duties or sacking," Haris said.
Haris added that he was made to understand that the administrator was unware of Sivarasa''s presence at the presentation ceremony of ''moreh'' donations at the mosque last Wednesday and that there was no talk scheduled to be given during the event.
Sivarasa was reported to have entered the mosque and attended the event on behalf of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali before he proceeded to deliver a political talk in the praying area.
Several of his pictures taken during the talk had also gone viral over the social media, causing uneasiness and dissatisfaction among the public.
