Selangor standardises Aidilfitri prayers at 8.30 am
Datuk Haris Kassim said the standardisation would enable Muslims to be present at mosques and surau before the start of the Aidilfitri prayers.
The Selangor Islamic Affairs Department (Jais) has set 8.30 am as the time for the Aidilfitri prayers at all mosques and surau in the state.
Its director, Datuk Haris Kassim, said in a statement the standardisation would enable Muslims to be present at mosques and surau before the start of the Aidilfitri prayers.
He advised Muslims in Selangor to celebrate Aidilfitri in moderation and strengthen bonds by visiting family members, relatives and friends.
