Selcat to disclose five reports

The Selangor Special Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency (Selcat) will disclose five reports on its public inquiry to the public, said its chairman, Datuk Teng Chang Kim.

He said the reports were on the hearing by Selcat pertaining to acquisition, use and repayment of the RM90.3 million loan by PKPS Agro Industries Sdn Bhd (PAISB) from the Finance Ministry.

The reports were also on the applications for development of the PKNS field Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) field in Kelana Jaya and the Petaling Jaya Local Plan 2 (RTPJ2), and also investigations on the alleged sand mining irregularities in Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd.

"Also to be revealed is the investigation report on the 2010 Audit Report pertaining to the financial management of the Selangor Foundation and on the floods in Hulu Langat and South Klang," he told a media conference at the State Secretariat building here today.

Teng, who is also the Selangor State Assembly Speaker, said Selcat would also reveal the Select Committee report on the District and Land Offices, local authorities, as well as the State Public Accounts Committee report based on the 2010 Auditor-General's Report.

Selcat will publish 200 copies of each report to be placed at libraries and state government departments in Selangor, he added.
