The process of selecting the new line-up of Perak state executive councillors is now in the final stage, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
He said there would also be an increase in the number of councillors appointed.
"We will also consider a special appointment as we all know that there is no representative from the Indian community. We want to form a government that can represent all (races)," he told reporters after participating in the running event to mark Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah's birthday here today.
The Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) managed to form the state government with a simple majority after winning 31 out of 59 state seats in the 13th general election.
Of the total BN seats, 30 were won by Umno, while the remaining one was won by MCA.
