Semenyih crash: Don't speculate, says Ahmad Zahid

Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has urged the public to not speculate the helicopter crash on Saturday which claimed six lives.
Ahmad Zahid who arrived at the home of the late Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis at 10.30am today said the people should respect the feelings of the families of those on board the ill-fated helicopter.
“This is a matter of death. Don’t speculate or bring in stories about matters that we do not know about. It doesn’t matter if its an organization or individual. Please respect their families,” he said.
He said Jamaluddin’s remains will be buried at about 4.15pm.
Ahmad Zahid said investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the crash.
“I have ordered the DCA director to conduct a full investigation. And police have completely secured the area to collect further evidence to help in the investigation,” he said.
Jamaluddin, who was also the chairman of Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA), and Datuk Azlin Alias, the principal private secretary of the prime minister, and four other people were flying back from Pekan, Pahang, to Subang, Selangor, when the AS3655N2 Dauphin (9M-1GB) helicopter went down in a rubber smallholding in Semenyih.
The four others have been identified as pilot Capt Clifford William Fournier; operations assistant Aidana Baizieva; Jamaluddin's bodyguard Razakan Seran and businessman Datuk Tan Huat Seang.
