Seremban to experience water disruption next Tuesday

Consumers in Seremban will experience water supply disruption for 24 hours starting at 8am on May 6 due to maintenance work at the Sungai Terip water treatment plant.

The areas to be affected are the whole areas of Seremban town, Seremban 2, Temiang, Templer, Templer light industrial area, Lobak, Jalan Rasah, Mambau, Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, KPJ Specialist Hospital, Columbia Hospital, Mawar Hospital, Chinese Maternity Hospital, Jalan Kuala Sawah to Taman Angsa Mas, Jalan Labu, Taman Desa Rhu, Taman Warisan Puteri, Ampangan, Paroi, Senawang, Rahang, Rasah Jaya, Sungai Gadut, Taman Tuanku Jaafar, Taman Seremban Selatan and Taman Seremban Jaya.

Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS) Corporate Communication Unit assistant manager Norzita Ismail said the water supply would be restored in stages starting 8am on May 7.

However, she said restoration of water supply to several high areas was expected to take longer.

"The maintenance work is part of SAINS' efforts to improve its service and quality of water for the benefit of its customers in the future," she said in a statement here.
