Shahrizat receives Lifetime Achievement Award from FGCCC

Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil was presented with the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award in Dubai on Monday by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC).

She is currently the advisor on Women Entrepreneurship and Professional Development in the Prime Minister's Department.

A statement from her office said the award was in recognition of her contributions to social and entrepreneurial development in Malaysia.

"I will ensure that integrated and strategic programmes in social and entrepreneurial development would continue, in line with the Prime Minister's aspirations towards a developed nation status for Malaysia," she said.

At the 2015 Middle East Entrepreneurial Leadership Award ceremony, FGCCC also presented awards to other Malaysian corporate leaders, among them, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad group managing director, Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din who received the 'Global CEO of the Year'.

Inland Revenue Board chief executive officer Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukor Mahfar received the Visionary Leader of the Year award while Jakel Trading Sdn Bhd group managing director Datuk Faroz Mohamad Jakel, the Global Entrepreneur Of The Year.
