Kristofer Stahre, the lawyer defending Shalwati Nurshal has said that he is all set to prove that there is reasonable doubt in the prosecutor’s case against his client, who is being charged for abusing her children.

Stahre said, Shalwati will plead not guilty to all the charges against her and is confident that she will be freed.

Both Shalwati and her husband Azizul could face a maximum 6 year jail term if found guilty.

The court hearing is expected to begin on Feb 18, 2014 in Solna District Court in Stockholm.

Shalwati, a teacher on unpaid leave and her husband, Azizul Raheem Awaluddin who is a director with Tourism Malaysia had been charged in a Stockholm court on Monday with gross violation of their children's integrity.

They had been detained since Dec 18, 2013 in Sweden.
