Shooting of films, dramas and commercials allowed from June 10

Filming including for dramas and commercials are allowed to start on June 10.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, however, that each shoot must comply with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

The SOP includes ensuring social distancing and personal hygiene.

"I had previously informed that the (special ministerial) meeting decided to allow filming, including for dramas, advertising and so on. I mentioned that it could start after raya.

“So, today we decided it could start operations on June 10. But filming activities must obey the SOP as decided in the (ministerial) meeting, especially to ensure social distancing and not start mass gatherings and so on," he said in a daily press conference here on Tuesday.
