Shot bodyguard in stable condition

The personal bodyguard of a businessman who was seriously injured when shot by two men at Chaterfield, Downtown KLIA in Sepang yesterday, was reported to be in stable condition.
It was learnt that the victim was operated on at Putrajaya Hospital at noon today to remove the bullets from his right shoulder.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department head Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah said police were still investigating the motive of the incident.
"The victim is also still in shock and cannot give a true picture of the suspects.
"What is important at the moment is to ensure he is in a real stable condition and safe, and only then will we get his statement," he said when contacted here today.
In the incident which occurred about 8.45 pm yesterday, the bodyguard was driving a Mercedes Benz car when two men travelling in two cars fired several shots at him.
