Shotgun, 50 rounds ammo missing in Tuaran burglary

A shotgun and 50 rounds of ammunition were reported missing in a burglary in Kampung Lapai, Tenghilan near here, yesterday.
Tuaran Police chief DSP Abdul Fuad Abdul Malik said burglars also escaped with a driving licence and RM60 cash in the incident between 8.30 am to 12.30pm.
"The burglary was discovered by the house owner who returned from church to find the front door damaged.
"Upon entering the house, he found the house ransacked and everything missing," he told Bernama.
The house owner who is also a firearms licence holder since 1983 made a police report on the incident at Tuaran district police headquarters (IPD).
The case was investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code and Section 35 of the Firearms Act 1960.
