Siblings' feud over inheritance leaves one dead

An ugly feud between two siblings over family inheritance led to the death of a man after he was allegedly hit with a fire extinguisher by his younger sibling.
Lim Poh Hau, 59, reportedly died at the scene after he suffered severe head injuries due to multiple strikes.
In the 7.50am incident, the victim had allegedly visited the suspect at his residence in Kampung Sama Gagah here before a brawl broke between both of them.
It is believed that the victim had started the fight by ramming into the suspect with his motorcycle.
Angry with the action, the suspect sprayed the victim’s face using the fire extinguisher and started hitting the victim on his head.
Police arrived at the scene after they received a distress call from the public. The victim’s remains were sent to the Seberang Jaya General Hospital for post-mortem.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
