The remand order for the two teenagers who are suspected of murdering the three siblings in Alor Semela, Kedah, last year, will be extended to another six days beginning today.
The suspects aged 18 and 19-years-old were detained last Wednesday to facilitate investigations.
They were arrested at their individual homes located around Alor Semela and Jalan Datuk Kumbar, Alor Setar.
The bodies of the three siblings, Noor Syafikah Nadia, 14, Nur Izzati Husna, 12, and Putri Nurul Akmal, 3, was found separately after being reported missing on November 29, 2013.
The semi-nude body of Nor Syafikah was found lying slumped in a padi field in Alor Senibong, while the body of Nur Izzati and Putri Nurul was found in a canal near Pekan Langgar.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
