Singaporean tourist missing in Pulau Tioman

A Singaporean tourist has been reported missing since yesterday in Kampung Paya, Pulau Tioman.
It is understood that Sinar Widjoyo Tugi, 73, had come to the popular holiday island with his family and was last seen at a resort there.
Rompin police chief DSP Muhammad Aidil Roneh Abdullah told Bernama the family lodged a missing persons report at the Mersing police station and the case had been referred to Rompin police.
"Police and Fire and Rescue Personnel have mounted a search operation for him but he is yet to be found," he said.
Pahang Fire and Rescue public relations officers Anuar Hassan said their personnel included members of STORM (Special Tactical Operation Rescue Malaysia) and MUST (Multi-Skilled Team).
