Situation in Lahad Datu Hospital
The situation in the Hospital of Lahad Datu seems calm whereby daily activities have been carried out normally despite the patrolling soldiers and police around the area particularly near the emergency exit.
Astro AWANI reporters who are trying to get the latest information from the hospital are directed not to be nearby the emergency exit and stay out from the yellow line 15 meter away.
However, based on observations, there are few activities going on by seeing ambulance coming in and out from the hospital while being escorted by two police car into the emergency exit.
An assistant medical officer who declined to be named informed all preparations for receiving the patient cause by the siege has been done.
"Doctors and nurses also was added in this hospital, but I do not know how many," he said.
