Six including a child, drown in boats collision in Tuaran
In the 11.30pm incident, 24 people were rescued and admitted to the Tuaran Hospital for treatment.
Six women including a child were drowned when their boat collided with another boat along the Serusup river near Penimbawan, late last night.
It is understood that the victims were all from Kampung Serusup and were on their way back from a wedding function.
The victims were identified as Salomah Maid, Aziah Maidin, Ainol Hasnam, Nurul Azda and five-year-old Norkasih Salim.
Another victim has been identified as Wong Vun Chong.

Tuaran Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohd Asnan Led said up until 8am today, search and rescue operation was still ongoing as the actual number of passengers have not been confirmed.
