Six killed in three-vehicle collision near Seremban

Six people were killed while three others were injured in a three-vehicle collision at KM7 Jalan Gemas-Tampin, near Felda Pasir Besar here at about 11pm yesterday.
Tampin police chief, Supt Hamazah Ab Razak said of the six victims killed, two died at the scene, one at the Tampin Hospital and the others at the Segamat Hospital in Johor.
The dead were identified as Rosilah Maamor, 40, her son Fawwaz Ahmad Syahraizan, nine, Muhammad Hazreen Saadon, 22, Mohamad Haizal Muhamad Radzi, 20, Muhammad Mu'az Muhamad, 13, and Muhamad Rizuwan Abdullah, 19.
"Rosilah and her son were in a Perodua Kenari car and were heading from Sungai Kelamah back to their home in Gemas while her husband Ahmad Syahraizan Omarudin, 40, was following behind them in Toyota Avanza.
"On reaching the location of the accident, a Proton Wira car driven by Muhammad Hazreen along with five passengers coming in the opposite direction was believed to have gone out of control and collided with the vehicles driven by Rosilah and Ahmad Syahraizan," he told Bernama.
The other victims killed were in the Perodua Wira.
Hamazah said the injured were Ahmad Syahraizan and Muhammad Aiman Abdullah, 14, and Mohd Naimullah Che Roselee, 13, who were passengers in the Proton Wira.
He said the road were the accident happened was slightly curved and there were double lines marked (no overtaking).
He added that the weather at the time was also good but it was rather dark there. -- Bernama
