Six localities in Sabah, three in Pahang under EMCO beginning Aug 26

Six more localities in Sabah and three in Pahang will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from Thursday until Sept 8, according to the National Security Council (MKN) today.
National Security director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad said the affected localities in Sabah include Kampung Sentosa Blok 4 and Batu 2, Lorong Saddani in Tawau, and Kampung Sayap and Kampung Rampayan Laut in Kota Belud.
The EMCO also affects the Kilang Mee Tien Hock quarters in Penampang and Taman Sri Panglima in Beaufort.
In Pahang, the three localities involved are Kampung Sungai Kabuk, Kampung Sungai Tiang and Kampung Sungai Chohong in Mukim Ulu Telom, Cameron Highlands.
Rodzi also said the EMCO in six localities in Sabah, scheduled to end tomorrow, had been extended until Sept 8.
They are Kampung Pulau Penampang, Kampung Gudon in Manggatal and Kampung Lobou in Kota Kinabalu; Kampung Menunggui (Kota Belud); Kampung Tengah, Kinarut (Papar) and Kampung Timbua-Kembiroi-Lobou Baru (Ranau).
Meanwhile, 18 localities where the EMCO would be lifted tomorrow include Felda Jengka 25, Temerloh and Felda Tersang 1, 2 and 3, Raub in Pahang, and Ladang Kerilla, Tanah Merah and Kampung Kubang Sawa, Tumpat in Kelantan.
Also to be lifted is the EMCO in several localities in Sabah, involving Bandar Sierra, Kampung Kalansanan, Bandaran Segama, Taman Bukit Setia and Taman Putera Jaya and Kilang J&L quarters, Jalan Kokol in Kota Kinabalu; Kampung Petagas (Putatan); Kampung Pogunon (Penampang); and Kampung Batu 1 (Sipitang).
The EMCO will also come to an end at Kampung Bukit Kukusan (Tawau); Kampung Batu-Batu (Tenom); Kampung Tempasuk 1 and Kampung Tambulaung (Kota Belud) as well as Kampung Tagibang (Kota Marudu).
