Six-year-old girl dies after three-storey fall in Sentul

A six-year-old girl was killed after falling from the third floor of a public housing project in Bandar Baru Sentul

here, late last night.

Sentul District Police chief ACP R. Munusamy, who confirmed the incident, said preliminary investigation found the victim had fallen off the back balcony of her family's unit by stepping on a laundry basket.

"She died immediately from head injuries and her body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a post-mortem. The case is classified as sudden death," he said.

Bernama's attempt to get some comments from the victim's parents failed as they were still in shock over the incident.
