'Small tornado' wreaks havoc in Pandamaran

Tornado wreck havoc in Pandamaran, Klang resulting in fierce winds which ripped off the roofs of about 30 homes in the area.

The 2pm incident lasted for half an hour affected two blocks of PKNS apartment in Pandamaran Jaya.

A 46-second video clip on the incident had also gone viral on the social media.

Klang Municipal Council member, Lee Fu Hae reportedly told a local news portal that the incident affected several areas and caused havoc at Jalan Banting and Jalan Besar Pandamaran.

Several trees were also uprooted during the incident apart from homes being damaged.

A similar incident occurred on October 15 in Pendang, Kedah, causing serious damage to at least 10 homes and a primary school in Kampung Alor Besar.
