SMART offers 10 per cent discount for tolls during Chinese New Year

The Stormwater Management And Road Tunnel (SMART) has offered a toll discount of 10 per cent for highway users in conjunction with the Chinese New Year on Monday and Tuesday.
In a statement issued today, SMART said users would enjoy a toll rate of RM2.70 compared to the usual rate of RM3 for all Kuala Lumpur entry and exit points, starting at 6 am on Monday, Feb 8 until 6 am on Tuesday, Feb 9.
According to the statement, SMART also presented 200 Chinese New Year hampers to highway users at the Sungai Besi toll yesterday.
The hampers and discount are part of the company's social commitment to motorists who use the SMART tunnel during the festive period.
