This soccer ball will not deflate

Nendo and Molten have developed a real soccer ball in kit form, to be assembled by the users and which is designed to not deflate. AFPRelaxpic
JAPANESE design studio Nendo has developed an incredible soccer ball in association with equipment manufacturer Molten. Composed of pieces of plastic and synthetic resin to be assembled, without an inner tube, it retains the characteristics of a traditional ball without ever deflating.
This concept is inspired by traditional Japanese woven bamboo balls. Its assembly requires 54 flexible parts made of recycled polypropylene and elastomeric synthetic resin. Once assembled, instead of relying on internal air pressure, this ball uses the resilience of its material on the surface. The end result is that the ball has the same striking and bouncing feel as a traditional model. Moreover, it is particularly resistant to shocks without ever losing pressure.
Note that to save space, the balloon can be shipped disassembled. It is of course perfectly customizable in terms of colors and thus can easily be created in the colors of a club or a particular event. Moreover, even if a component comes off during a match, it will not disassemble its overall structure. The innovative ball has an almost infinite lifespan and requires no maintenance.
For the moment, this balloon is still in the project phase, but it could go to retail relatively soon. The idea is to be able to have it used all over the world, especially in relatively poor areas, so that players don't need a pump nearby or have to change it with the
