On Feb 10, the five-men bench led by Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria, which upheld the Court of Appeal's sentence, had earlier convicted Anwar for sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
Anwar was sentenced to five-years of jail and is currently serving his sentence at the Sungai Buloh prison.
