Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said his son will sit for all his examination papers first before giving any statement regarding his involvement in a Bersih rally to the police.
He said his youngest son who is 15 years old would be sitting for the papers from tomorrow until Friday.
"My lawyer has told the police that my son would be having his final examinations. I will insist that my son go through the papers first before giving any statements," he told reporters after attending a Deepavali function here today.
However, he said he was waiting for his lawyer's advice on further action.
Mohamed Azmin via his Twitter account today uploaded his status saying that his son was called by the police to have his statement recorded at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters at 10 am tomorrow, in connection with his involvement in the rally, held to call for electoral reforms.
Children are forbidden from joining such rallies under the country's laws.
