All the heirs of the late cosmetics millionairess Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya were satisfied with the decision of the Court of Appeal in Putrajaya, on Friday.
Her eldest daughter Erni Dekritawati Yuliana Buhari said that the decision was worth of five years of wait.
Erni, who is also known as Rita Sosilawati said the family members thanked God upon hearing the court decision.
"I represent the members of Sosilawati’s family and I would like to say that we are very satisfied with today's result as this will give me and my four sibling strength to continue her legacy.
"This is all for our mother, we are grateful that the decision is finally on our side,” Rita told Astro AWANI when contacted.
Rita also thanked the authorities and Malaysians for their help and prayers.
After this decision, the family is expected to hold a ‘tahlil’ prayer ceremony for Sosilawati.
The Appeals Court here Friday upheld the death sentence on four men for the murder of Sosilawati, 47, bank officer Noorhisham Mohamad, 38, Ahmad Kamil Abdul Karim, 32, and Sosilawati's driver Kamaruddin Shamsuddin, 44., five years ago.
Sosilawati and her three aides were reported missing after they allegedly went to Banting for a land deal.
Their disappearance made headlines nationwide.
The four men were arrested and charged in court in 2011.
