Spa receptionist charged with human trafficking
Lor together with another person were charged with trafficking two sisters aged 22 and 24, for the purpose of sexual exploitation, at the Milennium Club & Spa in Cheras on Sept 21. - Pix for illustration purpose
A spa receptionist was charged at the Sessions Court here today with two counts of trafficking two Indonesian sisters for sexual exploitation.
Lor Weng Thye, 35, pleaded not guilty to both charges which were read before Judge Azura Alwi.
Lor together with another person still at large were charged with trafficking the two sisters, aged 22 and 24 years, for the purpose of sexual exploitation, at the Milennium Club & Spa, Jalan 5/101C, Off Jalan Kaskas, Cheras, here at 3pm on Sept 21.
Prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Najwa Bistamam.
Lor was not represented.
Azura set bail at RM10,000 for each charge and fixed Nov 17 for mention and Dec 23 for trial. -- BERNAMA
