The aircraft used to send home Sabah and Sarawak students in the Peninsula, will also be used to bring back the Peninsula students from both states.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, this was because it involved the use of a special aircraft and the cost of the trip was fully borne by the government.

"This is the good of our government and I believe the same aircraft will bring home the Peninsula students in Sabah and Sarawak," he told a daily media conference here today.

Last Friday, Ismail Sabri was reported to have said that the students' return to Sarawak and Sabah would begin this Friday involving five airports -- Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu Airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Penang International Airport and Senai International Airport.

Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri said students from five higher learning institutions in the North Zone had safely arrived at their homes in the Central Zone.

"The Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) will send 653 students in the North Zone to their hometowns in the North Zone and 280 students in the Sarawak Zone to their homes in the Sarawak Zone from today and tomorrow," he added.
