Spilt Gravy On Rice bags Best Film Award at FFM32

MELAKA: Spilt Gravy on Rice, directed by Datuk Zahim Albakri bagged the Best Film award at the 32nd Malaysian Film Festival (FFM) Awards last night.
It won the Digital Content Fund worth RM500,000.
The Best Actor award went to Datuk Adi Putra who portrayed Malay warrior, Mat Kilau in 'Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan' (Mat Kilau: The Rise of a Warrior), while Tan Chui Mui won the Best Actress award through Barbarian Invasion.
Held for the first time outside of the Klang Valley, FFM32 which took place at Encore Melaka saw 22 award categories involving films that were screened between July 15, 2021, and Sept 30 this year, offering cash prizes between RM5,000 and RM15,000.
Also present to enliven the festival that carried the 'Filem Kita, Citra Kita' theme were Yang Dipertua Negeri of Melaka Tun Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali, National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) chairman Senator Datuk Seri Zurainah Musa and Finas chief executive officer Professor Dr Md Nasir Ibrahim.
