KUALA LUMPUR: Young national figure skating prodigy, C. Sree Abiraame put on a magical show to take the crown at the Tallin Trophy 2021 held in Estonia on Sunday.
The nine-year-old racked up 23.49 points to emerge victorious and sidelined seven other skaters in the Cubs B girls' free skating category.
Home skater, Emilia Dratshenko finished second with 23.33 points while her compatriot, Tatiana Izymnikova took the third spot with 21.77 points.
"Thank you for all the support. Keep blessing me and I can do it," she said in a brief statement.
Last month, Sree finished runner-up in the same category at the Narva Cup 2021, also in Estonia.
Having won more than 50 gold medals at various levels, Sree has carved her name in the Asia Book of Records as the Youngest to Win Medals in International Figure Skating in 2019 and Malaysia Book of Records as the Youngest to Win "Skate Asia" Figure Skating Competition (Female) in 2017.
