Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) holders (or its equivalent) who have applied for study in public universities and premier polytechnics can now check their status from noon on Monday (June 12).
In a statement here Saturday, the Ministry of Higher Education said the status of applicants into Foundation Studies and Diploma programmes could also be checked through the hotline 03-8870 8200, from 9 am until 4pm on working days.
The line will also be operating on the Nuzul Al-Quran public holiday on Monday (June 12) from noon until 4pm.
Alternatively, they can check online at http://upu.moe.gov.my; https://jpt.utm.my; http://jpt.uum.edu.my; https://jpt.unimas.my and http://jpt.ums.edu.my or through the short messaging system (SMS) by typing UPU RESULT (identity card numbers) and sending it to 15888.
Meanwhile, appeals for intake into the Conventional and Metro Polytechnics, community colleges and Public Skills Training Institutes can also be made online within the stipulated dates.

The Ministry is also providing a counselling service counter at its office in Putrajaya to help applicants who want to check the status of their applications into these institutions, from 9am to 3 pm on working days.
The statement also said the decision on the offers were final and no application for transfers will be allowed.
