Student, 16, gives birth in toilet
The girl's parents were unaware she was nine months' pregnant as there was no sign indicating her pregnancy.
A couple was stunned when their 16-year-old daughter gave birth to a baby boy in the toilet of their home in Felda Bandar 32 near here, early Friday.
Following the 5.45am incident, the teenage student's father sent her to a clinic before lodging a report at the Bander 32 police station.
The student, together with the baby, were subsequently sent to the Sultan Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh.
Bera police chief, DSP Zul Haizal Zainal Abidin said initial investigations revealed that the girl's parents were unaware she was nine months' pregnant as there was no sign indicating her pregnancy.
He said the police would take a statement from the student to facilitate investigations.
