A special commission should be set up to address illegal gambling activities, especially in Selangor, said Kuala Selangor Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Irmohizam Ibrahim.
He said the authorities should also review the issuance of licence to operate entertainment and family entertainment centres and to monitor strictly their operation.
The state government should ensure the equipment offered to customers at the entertainment centres meet the terms and conditions of their licence, he said in a statement today.
He said operators of the entertainment centres should also be required to display an inventory on the entertainment equipment available at their premises to facilitate checks by the authorities. - BERNAMA
