Sukan Tak Sentral host Azizul Ammar is suspended after allegedly mocking former national sprinter, Watson Nyambek's father.
The decision was announced by Primeworks Studios Sdn.Bhd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Datuk Ahmad Izham Omar, via a media statement.
Besides Ammar, six production crews were also suspended.
The duration of Ammar's suspension wasn't stated, but the crews' suspension will be discussed later.
The program is also cancelled and will no longer be broadcasted, he said.
During a press conference in Miri this evening, Ahmad Izham has once again conveyed the company's apology to Watson and his family.
Ammar was also present at the press conference to see and apologise to Watson and his family.
Watson, however, has reportedly refused to accept the apology.
The legendary sportsman has lodged a police report at Miri Police Station at 10 am today.
Watson, who previously held the national 100m sprint record, said he was furious and offended by the Ammar's antics when pronouncing his father's name.
