Sungai Golok mishap: 10-year-old girl body found

The body of 10-year-old Wan Nurdina Nadia Wan Azli, one of the victims who was on board the ill-fated boat that capsized two days ago in Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang was retrieved near the riverbank at Kampung Bangkung near Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang around 9.30am today.
The body of Wan Nurdina's mother, Rosmiwati Zakaria, 37 was found floating about 100-metres from the incident site around 5.45pm later on Saturday evening.
Rantau Panjang Fire and Rescue chief Rahmat Kamaruzaman said Wan Nurdina, remains were found floating about 10 kilometeres away from the scene.
He said the remains of the Sekolah Kebangsaan Jerantut pupil were sent to Lati Hospital in Pasir Mas for post mortem.
Wan Nurdina's younger sibling, Wan Nurhabib Naufal, six, is reportedly still missing.
The capsized boat was carrying 15 passengers who were travelling from Pasar Mundok, Thailand to Sungai Golok.
Earlier investigations revealed that the submerged boat was carrying loads beyond its weight limit.
