Super League garners more than 2.5 mln views on YouTube

KUALA LUMPUR: The six matches on the first week of the 2021 Super League have attracted more than 2.5 million views on YouTube with the opening match between Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and Kedah Darul Aman FC (KDA FC) getting the most hits.
In the match which JDT defended the Charity Cup for the fourth consecutive time with a 2-0 victory over KDA FC at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium last Friday drew 626,385 views as at 4.30 pm yesterday.
The second highest was the clash between Selangor FC and Sri Pahang FC at Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium (MBPJ) which saw the Red Giants clinching 3-1 win, recorded 578,602 views.
This was followed by 374,367 views for the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) - Terengganu FC action as the visitors collected three points at UiTM Stadium in Shah Alam with a 1-2 win.
The Perak FC and Petaling Jaya City FC (PJ City FC) match at Perak Stadium, Ipoh, which ended in a goalless draw managed to secure 332,147 views.
Meanwhile the 1-0 triumph of Penang FC over Kuala Lumpur City FC from a goal by David Rowley at Bandaraya Stadium received 300,432 hits while Melaka United FC and Sabah played to a 1-1 draw managed record 289,194 views.
